Norwood Christian Preschool serves children from the ages of 2.9 years to 5 years old. Children must be 2 years old to be admitted to the program. The program features a Half-Day Program from 8:30am-11:30am, a Lunch Bunch Program from 8:30am-12:30pm, and a Full-Day Program from 8:30am-3:30pm.
How to enroll:
- A parent must first meet with the Program Director for a tour of the facility. This is a chance for the parent and child to meet our staff and see our program in action. Both parent and child will be invited to stay as long as they like in the child’s prospective classroom, and will be fully orientated to the class schedule, expectations, etc.
- Next, the parent must return the Enrollment Form with a $75.00 non-refundable Registration Fee to the Preschool Office. When the Enrollment Form and Registration Fee have been received, your child will automatically be accepted, provided that space is available.
- Parents/Guardians MUST fill out the entire Application Packet, provide a copy of their child’s most recent physical and lead screening, and fill out an Emergency Card, on or before your child’s first day of school. In order to support transitions and coordinate with services offered by other providers, we ask that the parents share information concerning therapeutic, educational, social and support services received by their child.
- Parents are required to fill out a Developmental History for their child, including their child’s interests and needs and the family’s interests and needs. The Program Director will discuss the child’s Developmental History with his or her parents at the time of enrollment. Please note that your child’s Developmental History must be updated annually and maintained in your child’s file.
